Ronald P. Seehusen, 85, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1939, in Pomeroy, Iowa.

Ronald was a man of deep faith who remained active in the Lutheran church throughout his life. He worshipped, studied, and volunteered at several congregations over the years, including Pomeroy Lutheran Church, Madrid Lutheran Church, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and the Church of the Good Shepherd in Des Moines. His dedication to service extended beyond the church, as he was also an active participant and volunteer with the Lions Club and the Shriners Organizations.

An avid outdoorsman, Ronald found great joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He had a special love for animals and cherished the companionship of his pets. At home, he enjoyed playing card and board games—cribbage being a particular favorite.

Ronald’s kindness, humor, and commitment to faith and community will be remembered by all who knew him.
