Jeanne Niles, 98, passed away from natural causes at the Jewish Life Center on December 10, 2020 at 12:39 pm. A graveside service will be held for her on April 1, 2021 at the Glendale Cemetery. Jeanne was born April 1, 1922 in Des Moines, and she was a graduate of the Roosevelt High School.
Jeanne married George Niles in 1944 in Hampton, Virginia. She worked and retired from Fawn Engineering Co, she was a homemaker and loved gardening.
Jeanne was proceeded in death by her husband of 67 years, George. Her mother, Minnie Hays and her aunt, Annie Brunsdon. Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Sherry Hicks, son, Kim Niles, and her brother, Don Hays. She was a daughter, friend, wife, mother, grandmother and she was the love of our lives. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to give the greatest thanks and love to all the staff at the Jewish Life Center for their incredible dedication during this challenging time. Also to the strong and compassionate people at Unity Point Hospice, thank you, we love you all.
