Jim, 80, passed away December 30, 2020 at Ramsey Village in Des Moines. There are no services planned at this time.
He worked as a Des Moines firefighter for eleven years before beginning Duver Draperies and Blinds. Jim spent his life in the Des Moines area until he retired to the Lake of the Ozarks. His hobbies included fishing and horseracing.
Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy; children, Sheryl (Chris) Sorensen and Pam Martin; grandchildren: Jamie Nunn (Andrew), Christian Faust (Alyssa), and Jennifer Martin; four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Alice Duver; brother, Bill; and sister, JoAnn.
