Gregory Bowen “Bo” Siberz, 52, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on October 14, 2021.
A memorial service will be held on October 22nd at 10:30am at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Bo was born on March 9th, 1969, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Christopher and Julie Siberz. He played baseball, the sport he loved, at Dowling Catholic High School, where he graduated in 1987 and was a member of the Dowling Athletic Hall of Fame. Bo was a very accomplished athlete who went on to pitch at Texas A&M before being drafted to the New York Yankees in 1990. He returned to Iowa to receive his bachelor’s degree in communications.
He is survived by his parents, Chris & Julie, his brother, Chris (Casady), his niece, Ella, and nephew, Connor. He is also survived by his five children, Allison, Kyle, Carolyne, Elizabeth, and Bowen Wil, and their mother Kristin Millhollin.
He is loved and will be missed dearly by his family and many, many friends.
