Frederick Goldsberry 78, of Clive passed away on, Friday, March 26, 2021 at Mercy Hospital.
Frederick Ralph Goldsberry was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 18, 1942, he was the son of Willard and Helen Goldsberry. He attended school in Des Moines Public Schools graduating from North High School.
Frederick owned and operated Auto Electric and Starter Company and worked at Iron Workers, Local #67. He raised and worked with Homing Pigeons. Subsequently competing in many competitions.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Stacey (Tadd) Davis of Winterset, Kipley Goldsberry and Marcelo Goldsberry both of Arizona, grandchildren, Ryan (Casady), Tristen, Tanner, Hunter (Taylor), and Autumn, great-grandchildren, Rory, Elsie Tinsley, Riley, Presley and Huntleigh and siblings, Judy, and Linda.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd, Clive, IA. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date in memory of Fred.
