Christina (Christy) McBride, 44, passed away at her residence, Sunday, July 6.

A loving mother, she lived her life in the Des Moines area and attended church at the Berean Assembly of God.

Christy is survived by her former husband, Scott Adams of Des Moines; sons, Scott Adams of Mitchellville and Michael Adams of Fort Dodge; granddaughter, Kiara Adams of Mitchellville; mother and step-father, Della and Ed Owens of Altoona; brother, Eddie (Joyce) McBride of Mitchellville and sister Brenda Slycord of Pekin, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, at Brooks Funeral Care, Tonini Chapel. Visitation will be held, 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at the funeral home.
