Mary C. Razor Memorial services for Mary Razor, 81, will be held at 3 p.m. on February 18 at Story Hospital Long Term Care Chapel. Mary Curran Razor was born August 12, 1926 in Clinton, Iowa. She was an only child. She graduated from Our Lady of Angel's Academy in Clinton. Mary worked at International Paper Company in Clinton. It was also in Clinton where she met and married Al razor in 1973. They then moved to Al's farm in Collins, Iowa and Mary wrote a column for the local newspaper in Nevada entitled "Hello from Hominyridge". She always made sure to send a copies to any family members for whom she had a address. Mary and Al have been residing at the Story County Long Term Care Unit. Mary passed away there on February 14, 2008 from complications of Parkinson's Disease. Mary and Al had no children. Her only immediate survivors are her husband, his two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn (Dr. Sam) Greer of San Antonio, TX and Mrs. Belle (Walter) Harville of Azusa, CA. and Al's nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Al would like to thank Dr. Jensen and the staff at Story County Long Term Care for the love and care they have shown Mary over the years.
