Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church for Mary C. Cardamon, 103, who entered into eternal life February 15, 2008. Visitation will be held 3 PM to 8 PM with a 6:30 PM Rosary service Monday at Tonini Chapel.

Mary was born in Des Moines September 16, 1904 to Dominic and Josephine Cardamon.

She retired as an administrative assistant for the Iowa State Cigarette and Tabacco Tax Commission.

Mary was a very active member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church community, the church Altar and Rosary Society, the Italian Cultural Center and Bellizzi MacRae American Legion Auxiliary Post 659.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mary will be missed by her sister Marjorie Funaro of Seattle WA., and many nieces and nephews.

She joins in eternal life her parents, her siblings; Ursula (Zula) Rand, John Cardamon, Frank Cardamon, Sadie Pascuzzi, William Cardamon, Rose Cardamon, Dr. Albert Cardamon and Victor Cardamon.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to her church or the Italian Cultural Center.
