Ines Bianchi Long, 75, entered her eternal life on March 26, 2008 at Hospice Kavanagh House on 56th street.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th Street, Des Moines, with burial in Carlisle Cemetery.

Ines was born in Florence, Italy and lived in Des Moines for 50 years. She was a homemaker and member of Christ the King. Ines enjoyed knitting, cooking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her children, Anna Long, Charles Long (Teresa), Sheila Mason (Victor Colemon), all of Des Moines; Sherri Skay (Tim) of Carlisle and Ron Mason of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Lena and Artamia, both of Italy; six grandchildren, Brian, Amanda, Alex and Kaytlan Long, JD and Kaici Skay; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Egisto and Sperandia Bianchi; sister, Anna Maria Wooten; husband, Ronald Mason, and her son, Bill Long.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Brooks Funeral Care~Tonini Chapel where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
