Frances Jean Fronk, 69, passed away February 19, 2008 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at Brooks Funeral Care - Tonini Chapel. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

Frances was born May 31, 1938 the daughter of Mary and Everett Johnson.

She was raised in Spirit Lake, IA were she met her husband of 48 years, Mervyn. Mervyn and Frances moved to Des Moines in 1963 were they raised their two sons.

She retired from Farmland Ins. She was an avid sports fan, loved working in her yard and spending time with her family.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents.

She will missed by her husband, Mervyn; two sons, Jeffrey and Anthony (Tammy); five grandchildren, Heather, Anthony, Cassidy, Jared and Braxton; three brothers, Cleo Johnson, Everett Johnson and Bruce Johnson; two sisters, Genevive Waldron and Ruby Bradshaw.
