Eldon "Fuzzy" Hester, 68, of Panora, died Thursday, December 20 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

He was born December 30, 1938, the son of Elston and Mary (Middleton) Hester and graduated from Yale High School in 1957.

On December 23, 1972 he married Cynthia Kirk. They owned and operated Fuzzy's Place in Panora.

His parents and sister Pat Young preceded him.

Surviving him is his wife, Cindy of Panora; two children, Joel Hester (Lisa) and Jolene Hester, both of Panora; two sisters, Lila Flanery of Panora and Janet Westergaard of Des Moines; two brothers, Jack of Cedar Falls and Keith of New Zealand: and five grandchildren. Camernon, Cheyenne and Harley Hester and Tre and ShyAnne Parkey, all of Panora.

A celebration of life services was held December 30 at Fuzzy's Place in Panora.
