Donna Okerstrom, 67, died December 8, 2007. Donna was born in Osceola, in December 1939.

Donna started her career as a Speech Pathologist with the Waterloo Public Schools, but then quit to raise her two children. Later, she became a teacher with Adults Incorporated. Recently she was enjoying retirement and pursuing her personal interests which included cross stitching, needlepoint, and scrapbooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband John and brother Roger Wing.

She is survived by her daughters: Tanya (Rob) Ovel of Marion and Tara (Bryan) Bauer of Johnston; sisters: Shirley (Cal) Aldeman of Coralville, Linda Burke of Richmond, TX; four grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Brooks Funeral Care in Clive. A luncheon will follow the service at Noon at Silvercrest at the Woodlands Clubhouse (12675 Woodland Parkway, Clive).
