Warren Frances Weeks, 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at CLC Des Moines. Services for Warren will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2006 at Brooks Funeral Care University Chapel in Clive. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, in Hampton, Iowa. Friends may call on family at the funeral home after 11 a.m.

Warren was born in Hampton, Iowa on October 21, 1926 to Mildred (Jorgensen) and George Weeks. Following high school, he joined the navy and was a proud veteran of WWII. He returned to Hampton following his service, then moved to Des Moines where he was a self employed home builder until his retirement in 1988. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandson, Garrett.

He will be missed by his son, Bill of West Des Moines, his daughter, Janet of Des Moines; his sisters, Ruth Grodte of Clive and Silvia Rossman of Hartley; and his grandson, Garrett.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jean (Canine), his parents and one sister, Mary Carol.
