Rose Mary (Romore) Tibbits, 95, of Tavares, FL died on Thursday, November 9, 2006. Born in Sicily, Italy, she was raised in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Tavares in 1970 from Michigan.

She was owner of Rose’s Supper Club in Michigan and was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis, FL and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Des Moines, Iowa.

She is predeceased by her husband, Howard Tibbits; son, Jimmy McCoy; brothers, John Joseph and Paul Romore; parents, Andrew and Rosalie Rumore; and sister, Carmen Romore Nesseth. She is survived by sisters, Josephine Walsh of Wallingford, CT and Mary Lemmo of Urbandale, Iowa; step-daughter, Dorothy Roney; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Des Moines.
