Raymond Romeo, 48, died October 7, 2006. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Society of Italian Americans service and 7 p.m. Rosary.

Raymond attended school at St. Anthony and graduated from Dowling High School in 1977. Raymond was in partnership with All American Mortgage. He was a member of the Victoria Lodge, St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Society of Italian Americans; volunteering for many years for the festival and was active in the Italian Cultural Center.

He enjoyed buying and selling cars, playing cards, bocce ball and was a sports enthusiast and a fan of Notre Dame.

Raymond will be missed by his wife of 23 years Michele Romeo; daughters Miranda Michele Romeo and Leah Rae Romeo; son Anthony Louis Romeo. He is also survived by his parents Tony and Lucretia Romeo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the education fund for his children, St. Anthony Catholic Church and School, the Society of Italian Americans Scholarship Fund and the Italian Cultural Center.
