Marianne died November 19, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home.

Marianne was a avid softball player and a manager for the Des Moines Bomberettes. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and was the first President for the Society of Italian Americans. Marianne worked for the US Dept. of Agriculture and Look Magazine.

She is will be missed by her husband, Jeff Peterson and brother, Peter Lipovac.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Marianne Lipovac memorial fund.
