Martha Ann Watkins, 56, of Keosauqua, Iowa died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Hospice of Central Iowa, Kavanagh House, Des Moines, Iowa.

She was born July 1, 1950 in Burlington, Iowa to James and Bette McGrath. She married Ronald Watkins on December 28, 1971 in Keosauqua; he survives. She graduated from Van Buren Community High School in 1968 and Truman State University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude, in 1972. She held various nursing positions in Iowa and San Diego, California during her 33-year career as a Registered Nurse, most recently at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

She is survived by two children, son Abraham, daughter Sara Bohn (Michael) of Des Moines; three brothers, her twin Mark McGrath of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Stephen McGrath of Swan Lake, Idaho, James McGrath of Keosauqua; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary McGrath.

Her body was cremated and a family memorial service was held.
