Edward M. Frost, 74, entered his eternal life on November 6, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, November 9, 2006 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.

Edward was born in Waterloo and had lived in Windsor Heights since 1965. He was a member of St. Theresa's and the Knights of Columbus. He retired from the US Veterans Administration and was a US Marine Corps Korean War veteran. An avid bridge player, he attained Life Master standing.

He will be missed by his wife, Jeanette; sons, Rev. John M. Frost of Avoca, Iowa, William C. Frost of Des Moines and Michael E. Frost of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren, Alexander C. Frost and Anastasia M. Frost; sisters, Patricia C. Frost of Cedar Rapids and Gloria M. Nolan of Alameda, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and F. Katherine Frost. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at the church.

Memorials may be made to his church or House of Mercy.
