Christel L. Cashman, 52, entered her eternal life on December 15, 2006. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 7075 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines. Visitation will be Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church with a 6:30 p.m. vigil service.

She was born February 16, 1954 and lived Owatonna, MN and in the twin cities until her move to Clive eight years ago. Chris was a homemaker, member of St. Francis of Assisi, RCIA, Society of Therapy Dogs and Mercy Hospital Pastoral Ministries. She enjoyed knitting, therapy dog training, reading and gardening.

She will be missed by her husband of 31 years, Stephen L. Cashman; sons, Ryan (Cynthia), Rory and Patrick of Urbandale; parents, W.T. and Lorrie Cashman; brother, Lee Mueller; sisters, Katie Sisler and Amy Lattimore.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Susan B. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation or Catholic Charities.
