William (Bill) Eakins, Jr. passed away at Taylor House on November 9, 2005. Bill was born September 15, 1951. He was preceded in death by his father, William Eakins, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Janice; two brothers, Jerry (Debbie) and James (Tammy); three nieces and three nephews. Bill enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and he was an avid fan of the Yankee’s.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2005 at his home at 2070 Windover Drive, Ankeny. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be used according to their wishes.
