Trenton W. Jennings, 86, died Friday, December 9, 2005, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2005, at Berean Assembly of God, with burial to follow in Avon Cemetery.

Trenton was born on May 19, 1919 in Molton, Iowa, and lived most of his life in the Des Moines area. He was a member of Berean Assembly of God, and was a bus driver for the MTA retiring in 1983. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking crafts, making grandfather clocks and lawn ornaments. He played several musical instruments, steel guitar, harmonica and mandolin.

He will be missed by his wife of 61 years, Marie; daughters, Shirley (Junior) Inman of Des Moines, Janice Zook of Lincoln, NE and Linda Lee (Jon) Lovelace of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Jennings of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Ransom Jennings; daughter, Marilyn; four brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 11, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Berean Assembly of God, 5225 Maple Drive, Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
