Shirley Ann Gordon Shirley Ann Gordon, 68, passed away surrounded by her family Saturday, May 7, 2005 at her home in Swan. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005 in Swan Cemetery. Shirley was born September 24, 1936 in Albia to Edmond and Clara Brown. She married Richard Gordon in 1960 and made her home in Swan. Shirley worked at Diamond Animal Health for 23 years. Survivors include her loving husband of 44 yeas, Richard; sons, Doug, Gary and Steve; daughter, Rhonda (Tim) Koersel- man; seven grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and four brothers, Eddie (Norma) Brown, Art (Coby) Brown, Richard (Donna) Brown and Bob (Kathy) Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Flynn; and son, Rob. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Pleasantville Rescue Unit or the Courtney-Cox Pitch Tournament Scholarship Fund.
