Shirley Desmond Shirley died peacefully Friday, September 9, 2005 at Wesley Acres. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Family will greet friends following the Mass. Shirley is survived by her four children, Mary of Chicago, IL, Pat (Karen) of Plano, TX, John (Sue) and Betsy (Dennis Diddy) of Des Moines; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Pier; and one sister, Marjorie Rudolph. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl. Shirley was a wonderful mother, grand- mother, great-grandmother, wife and friend. She will be missed but not forgotten. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation. |
