Richard A. Dunham Richard A. (Dick) Dunham, 80, passed away on May 6, 2005 at his home due to complications from cancer. Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Brooks Funeral Care. Dick was born in Dayton OH and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Dayton. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II and flew as a turret gunner in the B-24 Liberator. After the war, Dick graduated from Drake University and worked for Job Service of Iowa. In the later stages of his career he specialized in finding jobs for veterans. He is survived by a son, Daniel (Linda) Dunham of Des Moines; two daughters, Debbie Dunham of Chicago, Jennifer Yoder of Kingwood, TX; stepdaughters, Susan (Amir) Jeshani and Glenna (Roger) Stevens; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandson, all of whom loved him dearly. Dick enjoyed sports and followed the Hawkeyes, Cyclones, Texas A&M, and any sports his grandchildren were involved in. The family will receive vistors one hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society or your local VFW. |
