Loretta D. Vogt Loretta D. Vogt, 95, passed away on June 23, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25 at Bishop Drumm in Johnston with interment at 11:30 a.m. in Ames Municipal Cemetery. Loretta was a North High School Alumni Association member and an active member in the St. Cecelia Rosary Society in Ames, IA. She spent ten years in Ames, but lived the last ten years in Johnston, IA. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, and along with her husband, was a Chicago Cubs and Iowa State Cyclone fan. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Marv) Berry of Des Moines, Carol (Mike) McKinney of Richardson, TX; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Vogt in 1994. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bishop Drumm Foundation or Mercy Hospice.
