Juanita G. Reese Juanita Reese, 91, died May 22, 2005 of respiratory failure at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. today, May 25 at Brooks Funeral Care-University Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Juanita was born in Muscatine, IA, and lived most of her life in Des Moines. She was a homemaker and a member of Grandview Lutheran Church. Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family, embroidery, sewing, ceramics and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her two grandsons, Richard Reese, Jr. (Marilyn) of West Des Moines and Douglas Reese (Pat) of Des Moines; two granddaughters, Vicki Johnson (Pete) of rural Madison County and Tracy Isaacson (Stuart) of Clive; six great-grandchildren, Reese, Adam and Johnny Isaacson and Rich, Bob and Aubrey Reese; and one daughter-in-law, Pat Reese of West Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother; sister; husband, Emery in 1965; and son, Richard Reese, Sr. in 1984. |
