Inez L. Moorehead

Inez L. Moorehead, 95, passed away July 15, 2005. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Brooks Funeral Care with visitation one hour prior.

She established and owned Valley Florist of West Des Moines for 12 years and later sold Avon for 30 years. Inez was a 50 year member and past Worthy Matron of Waveland Park Eastern Star and a member of Daughters of the Nile. Music was always a big part of her life, even up to the last few months she was playing her organ. Her smile, wit and singing heart will be greatly missed.

Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Moorehead.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Mae Parker (Robert); grand-daughters Bobette Galloway (Jody), Courtney Reel (Kevin), and great-grandchildren Logan, Piper, and Elli.
