Elizabeth Ann Rogers left this life on October 9, 2005.

Growing up in Des Moines, she was affectionately known as "Buffie." Later, after graduating in 1985 from Hoover High, the name "Liz" evolved.

Liz had lived in Omaha, NE for the last ten years. There, in 1998, her daughter was born.

Surviving Liz is her daughter, Sydney Elizabeth of Omaha, NE; husband, Craig Morrell; mother, Patricia Rogers of St. Charles; two brothers, Mark and Bill; four sisters, Arminda, Teresa, Kathie and Amy; and many loving nieces and nephews, along with a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, William J. Rogers and grandparents, Frank and Dorothy Donahue; and grandmother, Ruby Rogers.

Liz's light will continue to shine through her daughter, Sydney, for she brought the greatest joy into her life.

We will miss you Buffie.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Brooks Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used in a trust for her daughter, Sydney.
