Delores "Dodi" Ritchie
Dodi was a member of the WDM Christian Church, a 1949 graduate of North High School and retired, after 31 years, as a legal assistant for John F. Davis. She was blessed throughout her life with a close knit family and friends with whom she shared good times and bad, but who were always there to support her in whatever she chose to do. She is survived by her sister, Marge (George) Stilwell; three brothers, Berk Ritchie, Rodger (Loretta) Ritchie and Wes (LuRene) Ritchie; many nieces and nephews and friends, especially the girls from the class of '49. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial contributions be made to her church or Hospice Kavanagh House on Grand Avenue. |
Delores "Dodi" Ritchie, 73, died August 14, 2005 at Hospice Kavanagh House on Grand Avenue from complications of ovarian cancer. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 17 at the West Des Moines Christian Church, 4501 Mills Civic Pkwy, West Des Moines. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.
