Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Betty who died September 6, 2005 in Des Moines. Betty retired as head cook for food services at Weeks Junior High School.

Betty enjoyed cooking, traveling, polka music and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Anthony's Altar and Rosary Society and the Croatian Lodge. Betty will be missed by her children, Raymond (Rae) Leto of Greenfield, Phyllis (John) Brodie of Des Moines, Robert Leto of Tucson, AZ and Ronald of Cherokee; four grandchildren, Joe Leto, Theresa Sullivan, Tom Leto and Suzanne Tjaden; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a memorial/scripture service beginning at 7 p.m.
