Anthony (Tony) Anania

Anthony Gasper Anania, 19, was born on February 3, 1986 in Des Moines, Iowa and died on May 28, 2005. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 2004 and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He was a beloved son, brother and friend to all. He enjoyed football, rap music, and cherished many friendships.

He will be missed by his parents, Angelo and Kaye Anania; his brother, Dominic; three sisters, Katie, Christina, and Rosie; paternal grandparents, Gasper and Lucia Anania; maternal grandmother, Helen Williams; aunts, Lucia (Pete) Hale, Andrea Anania, Kelly Dennis; and uncle Mike (Jo) Williams. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Lauren Williams and his aunt Rosalyn (DeeDee) (Kevin) Ellis. Tony was a kind, loving, fun guy who lived life to its fullest. He will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Lincoln High School football program or St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
