Raymond Andrew Pedersen, 90, died December 29, 2004. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 2 at Brooks Funeral Care- Tonini Chapel. Burial of his cremains will be at a later date in Omaha, NE.

Raymond was born in Blair, NE and lived in Omaha, NE, until moving to Des Moines in 1955. He was a WWII veteran, serving with the US Army in North Africa. Raymond worked at the National Weather Service and enjoyed gardening, golfing, dancing and spending time with his wonderful family. He was a staunch Nebraksa football fan.

Raymond will be missed by his wife, Marguerite (Secher) Pedersen of Des Moines; one son, Ray Alan of Des Moines; two daughters, Gail (John) Ogden of Burke, VA, and June (David) Thomas of Omaha, NE; and five grandchildren, Kristin Ogden, John A. Ogden, Anna Bates, Callie Thomas and Thad Thomas.
