Mary Dew Mary Kathryn Dew, 73, also known as "Sam", died in her home on November 18, 2004 due to cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, IA. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, watching the Chicago Cubs, and was an avid Hawkeye fan. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Dew; daughter, Margaret "Meg" Davis and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Lyle (Robin) Dew of Altoona, IA; Pat Dew of Quincy MA; Bill Dew of Johnstown, CO; and Jimmy Dew of West Des Moines, IA; and her twelve grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish Center, with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. |
