LaRue E. Hollembeak

LaRue E. Hollembeak, age 76, of Des Moines, IA died on October 13, 2004.

Born April 16, 1928 in Rockford, IL, son of Lyman and Marie Hollembeak, he was raised and attended school in Belvidere, IL and spent some of his adult years in the area.

He attended the University of Illinois and served in the US Army.

He was involved in the electrical industry most of his adult life, but had several other private ventures as well. He retired in 1990 from Siemens Automated Electric Co.

He was active in many electrical associationsa as wel as being a life member of AF&AM #60 Masonic Lodge and was very active in the El Zagel Shrine in Fargo, ND for many years.

He is survived by two daughters, Kristine Huff of Beason, IL and Jodi Heil of West Des Moines, IA; 5 granddaughters, and one great granddaughter.

There will not be a service at this time, but a private inurnment will be held on November 6th at the Belvidere Cemetery.
