Ellen McCulley
Ellen was born in Osceola, IA on May 28, 1934. She lived in Creston, and graduated from Creston High School in 1952 and from Creston Junior College in 1955. She lived in West Des Moines for 42 years. She was employed with West Des Moines Public School System in the Food Service Department retiring in 1996. Ellen was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and she enjoyed painting, camping and reading. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother She will be missed by her son, Carl (Rhonda) McCulley, Des Moines; and grandsons Derek and Ryan McCulley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Torrence McCulley who died in November 2004. Visitation will be held Monday December 27, 2004 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Care University Chapel. A Rosary Service will be at 7 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. |

IA with burial at Resthaven Cemetery, West Des Moines, Iowa
