Dolores "Dee" Porter, 81, died December 12, 2004 at NBA Ramsey Home. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 16 at Unity Church of Des Moines at 414 31st Street in Des Moines.

Dolores was born in Cameron, MO, and spent most of her life in Des Moines. She was a homemaker and worked part-time at Bishop's Buffet, Kings Food Host and DSM Schools Lunch Program.

Dee enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of Unity Church of Des Moines and Men's Garden Club of Des Moines.

She will be missed by her husband of 58 years, Richard "Dick"; son, Jeff of Des Moines, IA; and sisters, Loretta Naylor of Des Moines, Wanda (Chris) Reyes of Des Moines and Colleen Izzolena of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy.

Family will greet friends following her service at the church. Memorials may be made to Unity Church of Des Moines.
