Darlene "Darwa" E. Hensley, 83, passed into God's arms on December 31, 2004 at Fountain West Health Care Center in West Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Kingsway Cathedral, 9000 SW 9th Street, Des Moines, Iowa. Burial of her cremains will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Highland Memory Gardens. Darlene was born in Des Moines and lived there all here life. She was retired from Tension Envelope Company. She loved children and was proud to babysit for family and friends. She will be missed by her son, Charles Hensley of Des Moines; two sisters, Madlynn Bexell of Des Moines and Dolores (Gerald) Cisco of Des Moines and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Memorial donations may be made to her church or Fountain West Health Center.
